It's been a busy weekend! We went to Kennywood on Friday. Leave it to us to choose one of the hottest and most humid days of the summer to go to a amusement park. However, we had fun and I think we probably lost about 5 lb. each.
Today we were off to the
Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival. The weather was perfect and we had a great time. We saw the King and Queen

I ate a turkey leg
I even got to be a fairy for the day

It was quite a day! I would recommend it to anyone. Also, I saw several small knitted items that I would like to try. All in all, it was fun and inspiring.

The festival was so much fun, we visited two weekends in a row. My kids and I dressed up - among us we had fairies, a pirate, a dragon, and I was a gypsy. It's great how we can all still play make-believe once in a while.
